Emraan Azad completed his LLM (Master of Laws) in Human Rights Law (HRL) from the Department of Law, University of Dhaka. He passed LLM (Master of Laws) obtaining CGPA 3.88 on a scale of 4.00 (securing First Class First position). He did his LLM thesis titled 'Poverty Reduction and the HIPC Initiative of the World Bank: A Rights-based Assessment', under the supervision of Mr. Quazi MH Supan, Associate Professor of Law, University of Dhaka. Earlier he completed his LLB (Honours) from the same University securing First Class Third position. From Kathmandu School of Law (Nepal), Emraan was awarded with Diploma in Economic, Social and Development Rights. He passed Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) exam from Notre Dame College, Dhaka, in 2009 with GPA 5.00 on a scale of 5.00 (Humanities group). Prior to that Emraan passed Secondary School Certificate (SSC) exam from Rajendrapur Cantonment Board High School, Rajendrapur Cantt., Gazipur, in 2007 with GPA 5.00 on a scale of 5.00 (Humanities group).
