BUP BCC presents ‘CreADive 2018’ held in Radisson Blu

Home to several flagship events, Bangladesh University of Professionals Business and Communications Club (BUP BCC) marks the fifth year of the success of its Ad-Making and Marketing competition CreADive. In the competitive world of business, CreADive has made its name as one of the most prestigious marketing and advertisement making competitions in Bangladesh
The journey of CreADive 2018 was sponsored by Bengal Group of Industries began on December 27, 2018 with registration process of over 400 undergraduate teams from universities all across the nation. Teams were put to test of their marketing and advertisement-making skills. The competition consisted of four rounds with each round bringing a new challenge like online case solving, 360-degree marketing, product activation campaigns etc. In between the rounds, CreADive's signature surprise task 'The Curveball' hit the teams to test them under pressure. Finally, the top 7 teams were challenged to develop a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Campaign centering Laboni beach of Cox's Bazar in the grand finale.
The grand finale of Bengal CreADive 2018 was hosted on February 4, 2019 at Radisson Blu Hotel by the presence of the Chief Guest, Honorable Minister, Mustafa Jabbar, Ministry of Post, Telecommunication and Information Technology, Government of Peoples Republic of Bangladesh. BUP VC Major General Md Emdad-Ul-Bari, ndc, psc, te and Pro-VC Professor M Abul Kashem Mozumder, PhD graced the event with their presence. The event was successfully organized with the constant guidance of the Dean of FBS, Brigadier General Muhammad Wasim-ul-Haq, Chairman of Marketing Department, Lt. Col. Md Alauddin Al Mamun and the Club Moderator, Lecturer Md. Tanvir Alam Himel.
After the rigorous judgment process by the industry experts, Team XS from IBA, DU became the champion of ‘Bengal CreADive 2018'. Team Type-A from IBA, DU became the first runner-up. And the second runner-up was Team Blue Ribbon from BUP. The winning teams walked home with glory and prize money worth of taka three hundred thousand.
