BUP Signs MoU With DCCI
Dhaka,
27 October 2020: A Memorandum
of Understanding (MoU) between Dhaka Chamber of Commerce & Industry (DCCI)
and Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) was signed in a ceremony at Bijoy
Auditorium of BUP on 27 October 2020, Mirpur Cantonment, Dhaka. Office of the
Evaluation, Faculty and Curriculum Development (OEFCD) of BUP organized this
signing ceremony.

Vice Chancellor Major General Ataul Hakim Sarwar Hasan, SBP, SGP, ndc, afwc,
psc, PhD was present as the chief guest,
Mr. Shams Mahmud, President of DCCI was present as the special guest and Professor
of BUP Bangabandhu Chair, Dr. Syed Anwar Husain was present as the guest of
honor. They also signed the MoU on behalf of their respective
institutions.
The main purpose of the MoU is to build up bio-lateral
relation in academic and research of these two organizations, to get waver for
BUP faculty and students, to conduct different certificate course mutually, to
provide intern opportunity for BUP students, to organize job fair, seminar,
workshop, to organize training programmes jointly and so on.

Sarwar Hasan, SBP, SGP, ndc, afwc, psc, PhD in his speech requested DCCI to put
forward the criteria of skills that actually needed for the industry so that
academia can provide the curriculum according the demand of the business
sector. He said industry sector of Bangladesh needs a huge skilled executives
and we are working hard to meet this growing demand for the sake of our own
benefit. He also assured DCCI of all possible support from BUP to work hand in
hand in an win-win situation. He also stressed on tech-based international
standard education system to cope with the rapidly changing economic world.
Among others, BUP registrar Brigadier General
Md Mefta Ul Karim, BSP, SPP, BPM, ndc, psc, BUP high officials, teachers,
students, senior officials of DCCI and journalists were also present in the
programme.
