The closing and prize giving ceremony of ‘MAKE IT COUNT (MIC)’, a national public speaking competition was held on 28 August 2022 at Bijoy Auditorium of BUP. This competition was organized by BUP Career Club under the supervision of Department of Business Administration- General, Faculty of Business Studies (FBS) of Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP).

In the competition, respected Pro-Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Khondoker Mokaddem Hossain graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and distributed prizes among the winners. Brigadier General Md Moazzem Hossain, BGBM (BAR), PhD, Dean, FBS was present as the Special Guest.

In MIC public speaking competition, 350 participants from over 15 renowned universities participated. Five participants qualified for the final round through four steps competition. In the final round, Ayman Sabit from BUP became the champion, Shahriar Zahid Mormo and Marjuka Ahmed Chowdhury became the first and second runners up respectively. Sadekin Haider Mozumder from North South University and Sadat Al Abrar from BUP achieved special mention award.

Among others, BUP high officials, faculty members, students were present in the competition.
