Visit to Bijoy Keton Museum by the Students of Law Department
On 12 March 2020, students from the Department of Law, BUP visited the Bijoy Keton Museum, Dhaka Cantonment. The team was accompanied by Assistant Professor Md. Abu Bakar Siddique, Lecturer Emraan Azad and Lecturer Md. Abu Hanif. The students visited different galleries of the museum which depict the history of liberation war of 1971 and the role of Bangladesh Armed Forces in the war. They particularly visited the actual court room where the historic Agaratala Conspiracy Case (1969) was taken place by the West Pakistani government against the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and other military officials. The visit was made as part of the preparation for organizing a shadow trial concerning the Agaratala Conspiracy Case by the BUP Law and Moot Court Club on the occasion of birth centennial of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
