Biography
Fatema-Tuj-Juhra is an Assistant Professor in the Department of International Relations at Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP). She holds a BSS and MSS in International Relations from the University of Dhaka, where she was awarded the Dean’s Award, the Abdus Salam Azad Gold Medal, and the Saheed Sinha Gold Medal for academic excellence. Later, She completed her second Master’s in Public Policy from the Josef Korbel School of Global and Public Affairs, University of Denver, as a J. William Fulbright Fellow (2022-24). Her research interests cover human rights, migration and foreign policy. Fatema is an active member of the Fulbright Alumni community under the U.S. State Department and Exchange Alumni at the U.S. Embassy, Dhaka. Additionally, Fatema has also worked on projects as a researcher under United Nations Development Program and Centre for Immigration and Policy Research, University of Denver.
