FACULTY RESEARCH

BRC administers the projects funded by UGC in BUP. The projects are conducted related to the faculties/ departments of BUP. BRC receives the project proposals from faculties of BUP and tally with the academic considerations like originality, justification, feasibility, creativity, impact, etc. BRC also arranges Project Evaluation Committee (PEC) meetings for approval of proposals, and acceptance of final reports.
 

INDEPENDENT RESEARCH/ INNOVATION

BRC conducts independent research/innovation projects in various fields of knowledge by the faculty members of BUP. Affiliated institutions of BUP can also participate in the research/innovation project. BRC identifies the scope/receives proposal of research topics /innovation projects in various fields of knowledge from BUP and its affiliated institutions. The proposal is accepted/rejected considering merits through Project Evaluation Committee.

CONSULTANCY

BRC forms the project team including selection of Project Director for consultancy. All the proposals are vetted through the Project Evaluation Committee (PEC). Consultancy services focus on business studies, demographic and population studies, poverty studies, development studies, security studies, peace and conflict, public health, cyber security, 4IR, Industrial research, gender research, etcetera. The services in those focused areas are as follows:

• Any type of survey
• Baseline study 
• Impact study
• Economic, financial analysis and accounting research
• Feasibility study 
• Review of feasibility study
• Market assessment and demand analysis
• EIA (Environmental and social impact assessments)
• Vulnerability assessment 
• Quality assurance and software testing 
• End-line study/evaluation etcetera
