Mst. Nusrat Jahan Suchi is a Lecturer in the Department of Sociology at Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP), where she has been a faculty member since 2023. She completed both her Bachelor of Social Science (Honours) and Master of Social Science degrees in Sociology at the same department, building a strong academic foundation that continues to inform her teaching and research.Her research interests center on gender studies, women's empowerment,disaster, climate change, and equality in education, areas in which she examines the social structures and institutional practices that shape opportunities and outcomes for women in Bangladesh. Through her scholarship, she seeks to contribute to a deeper understanding of how educational access and policy intersect with broader questions of gender equity and social justice.As a lecturer at BUP, she combines her research focus with a commitment to mentoring students and fostering critical engagement with sociological perspectives on gender and social change.
