Biography
Sabbir Ahmed is a Lecturer in the Department of Business Administration in Management Studies at the Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP). He is an emerging academic in the field of Human Resource Management and Management Studies, with a strong commitment to teaching excellence, research engagement, and student-centered learning. Prior to joining BUP, he served as a Lecturer in the Department of Business Administration at Daffodil International University, where he gained valuable teaching and academic experience.
He completed his Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Human Resource Management from Khulna University, graduating with a CGPA of 3.97 out of 4, securing First Position with Distinction. His academic excellence was recognized through multiple honors, including the University Merit Scholarship (for four consecutive years) and the Dean’s Award (2025). He later earned his Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resource Management from Khulna University with a perfect CGPA of 4.00 out of 4, again achieving First Position with Distinction.
Mr. Ahmed’s teaching responsibilities include delivering lectures, designing course materials, assessing student performance, and mentoring learners. He emphasizes analytical thinking, practical application of management concepts, and interactive classroom engagement. Alongside teaching, he actively participates in academic research and professional development activities.
His research interests include Sustainable Human Resource Management, Organizational Resilience, Circular Economy, Employee Adaptability, and Retention Strategies. He has presented research papers at national and international conferences, and his MBA dissertation, funded by a research grant from Khulna University, focused on building organizational resilience through sustainable HRM practices.
