BUP Research Society (BUPRS) successfully concluded the 4th National Research Project Contest 2025, held across three phases on 21 and 28 June, and 3 July at Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP). The event attracted participation from over 30 universities, showcasing 153 research papers and 65 critical essays submitted by students from across the country.
The closing ceremony day featured a Keynote Speech by Professor Dr Mustafizur Rahman, distinguished fellow at the Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD), who underscored the importance of youth-led research in addressing national and global challenges. He commended the BUP Research Society for building an inclusive platform and urged students to view research as a tool for meaningful contribution to national development.
Md Faiaz Hossain of the University of Dhaka was declared Champion in the Best Researcher category, while the runner-up position was jointly secured by Md Nazmul Hasan Shaon, Arik Ibna Munir, and Halima-Tus-Sadia from BUP.
The contest reaffirmed BUP’s commitment to nurturing a culture of critical inquiry and academic excellence in higher education.
