S. M. Wahiduzzaman is currentlypursuing his PhD in Applied Linguistics with a focus on “The Realities ofPresentation Skills in Tertiary Education in Bangladesh.” He previouslyobtained an MPhil in Applied Linguistics, titled “Use of Segmental andSuprasegmental Elements of English Pronunciation by Tertiary Students atBangladeshi Universities,” from Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP),where he also works as an Assistant Director. With 18 years of experience, hehas been teaching Presentation Skills and English Communication Skills. Duringthis time, he has published several articles and books on Presentation Skills,English pronunciation, and Spoken English, complete with audio and video CDs.Some of his works are listed as textbooks in various primary, secondary, andtertiary institutions. He has also served as an Adjunct Faculty Member(Assistant Professor) at BUP and has been a lecturer in English at the UnitedCollege of Aviation, Science, and Management in Uttara, in addition to holdingother academic and corporate roles. He has an MA in English Literature and anMA in Applied Linguistics & ELT from the State University of Bangladesh.His dedication to teaching languages and communication skills is evident, andhe received the Best Paper Award at the ‘International Conference on Trends andInnovations in Language Teaching TILT’14,’ held by Sathyabama University inChennai, India, on November 14-15, 2014.
