BUP Global Affairs Council (BUPGAC) is a student-led club in BUP that promotes youth’s involvement in society by encouraging diplomatic and leadership skills. With an aim to provide a dynamic platform for the youth to practice their academic and professional skills, BUPGAC ushers young minds to create a positive impact in the national and global community. Since its inception in 2015, BUPGAC has been conducting effective educational exercises through various events to help students pursue their academic and personal growth.
BUPGAC has played a pivotal role in providing opportunities for youth from national and international communities to expand their understanding of global politics through writing competitions, leadership contests, seminars, webinars and Model UN conferences.
Our club has been upholding its promise to inspire and nurture students to become global leaders. BUPGAC aims to assist young minds in thinking critically and sharing their ideas to generate sustainable outcomes for the betterment of society. With that in mind, the club has been organising events, such as BRINK: Brain to Ink, EiFAC: Exchanging Ideas For A Change, and Lead it, in order to help the students apprehend the current social issues and find innovative solutions accordingly. Its flagship event, BUP International Model UN Conference unites students from diverse nations to come under one platform and fabricate long-standing companionship.
This club also provides its members and the students of BUP with a myriad of opportunities through its affiliation with various organisations and other clubs throughout the country. These collaborations enable our members to expand their horizons and gain diverse experiences, contributing to their personal and professional growth. With the motto of “Breaking the Boundaries”, BUPGAC encourages young members and participants to gain multifaceted comprehension and become agents of change within their communities
