Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) organized a workshop titled "Bangladesh National Qualification Framework and Accreditation Standards & Criteria" on April 25, 2022 at Bijoy Auditorium in Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP). The Vice Chancellor of BUP, Major General Md Mahbub-ul Alam, ndc, afwc, psc, MPhil, PhD, and Pro-Vice Chancellor of BUP, Professor Dr. Khondoker Mokaddem Hossain, were present as the Chief Guest and Special Guest respectively. Professor Dr. Sanjoy Kumar Adhikary and Professor Dr. S M Kabir, members of the Bangladesh Accreditation Council (BAC), presented the keynote papers while Dean OEFCD and Director IQAC Commodore M Sharif Uddin Bhuiyan (S), NGP, ndc, afwc, psc, BN moderated the workshop as Session Chair. In the workshop, resource persons delivered lectures in detail about the Bangladesh National Qualification Framework (BNQF), its importance, implications, and 10 Accreditation Standards and 63 Criteria. The goal of accreditation is to ensure that the education being provided by institutions meets acceptable levels of quality. BUP high officials, faculties and officers were also present in the workshop.
