The Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) successfully organized a training session titled “OBE Course File Management & OBE Teaching-Learning Assessment Rubrics Through Software” on 15 June 2026 from 1000 to 1230 hours at the FBS Computer Lab, Room No. 1301, FBS Tower. The training commenced with a welcome address delivered by Captain Mahbubur Rashid, (L), psc, BN, Director, IQAC, BUP. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of Outcome-Based Education (OBE) in enhancing teaching-learning effectiveness and ensuring quality assurance in higher education. He also highlighted the significance of proper course file management and the use of software-based assessment rubrics in achieving OBE objectives. The training was conducted by Lecturer Md. Sazzadul Islam Prottasha, OBE Software Developer, ICT Department, BUP. During the session, he provided comprehensive hands-on guidance on the management of OBE course files and demonstrated the effective use of software for developing, implementing, and monitoring teaching-learning assessment rubrics. Participants gained practical insights into digital tools and techniques that facilitate accurate assessment, documentation and continuous quality improvement within the OBE framework. The program was attended by all Department Chairmen, members of the Program Self-Assessment Committee (PSAC), and officers of IQAC.
