The Department of Finance and Banking was established in 2015 and started academic activities under the Faculty of Business Studies (FBS) from 2016. There are four batches of BBA program and a batch of MBA program at present under the department.
The department focuses on educating students to become competent, capable, and responsible leaders in the financial and economic sector through research-based teaching. Knowledge is imparted in a manner that impacts both the local and global economy. The department aims to develop skilled human resources with specialized education and training, particularly in finance and banking services. The primary objective is to provide students with the educational experience necessary for success in the competitive global banking and financial sector.
