The Department of Finance and Banking was established in 2015 and started academic activities under the Faculty of Business Studies (FBS) from 2016. There are four batches of BBA program and a batch of MBA program at present under the department.

The department focuses on educating students to become competent, capable, and responsible leaders in the financial and economic sector through research-based teaching.
