A team from the Department of Finance & Banking, Bangladesh University of Professionals secured the Second Runner-Up position at the Business Case Study Segment of Ignition 2026, a national-level mechanical fest organized by Khulna University of Engineering & Technology. The competition brought together talented students from universities across the country to compete in multiple segments that emphasized analytical thinking, innovation, and strategic problem-solving.

Ignition 2026 focused on real-world business challenges, strategic decision-making, and presentation excellence under competitive conditions. Teams were evaluated based on the depth of analysis, practicality of recommendations, creativity, and overall presentation performance before a panel of academic and industry experts.

Competing under the team name Team Neckros, the team consisted of Ahmed Abrar (ID: 25221510145), Zarif Zakaria (ID: 23221510033), and Farhan Hossain (ID: 25221510147) from the Department of Finance & Banking, Bangladesh University of Professionals. Through their strong teamwork, research-driven approach, and structured presentation, the team successfully secured the Second Runner-Up position in the competition.
