The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) provides top-quality education in Computer Science and Engineering in its graduate programs. Computer Science is a growing sector. It has already been declared a prioritized sector in Bangladesh. Considering this, the department offers CSE courses to produce Computer Science and Engineering specialists. In today’s circumstances, cyber security is an important and demand-driven subject for students. To align with the fourth industrial revolution (4IR), adequate cyber security knowledge is a must. The Masters in Cyber Security (MCS) program is a cutting-edge academic endeavor designed to train the next generation of cybersecurity leaders. This program offers a comprehensive and interdisciplinary curriculum that equips students with advanced technical skills, strategic thinking, and ethical principles essential for combating the ever-evolving landscape of cyber threats. Through hands-on experiences, collaborative projects, and exposure to real-world scenarios, students develop a deep understanding of cybersecurity concepts, techniques, and technologies. This course prioritizes hands-on lab work to help them develop professionally.

Mission of the Program

The mission of the Masters in Cyber Security program is to develop skilled cybersecurity experts who can reinforce digital environments, defend against cyber risks, and contribute to the innovation of secure technological advancement at both national and international levels.

Program Objectives

a) To provide practical cybersecurity skills through hands-on projects, case studies, and simulations based on real-life cyber incidents to enable students to apply theoretical knowledge to practical solutions.
