The Army Medical Corps Center and School was established on 1 September 1977 in Dhaka Cantonment with the motto of 'Somore o Santite Rakhibo Sustho'. The center was shifted to Jahanabad Cantonment in November of the same year. In March 1978, it was relocated to Rajshahi Cantonment. The organization was last permanently relocated to its current location on 12 December 2007. Since its inception, the organization has been working tirelessly to create skilled and professional soldiers for the Army Medical Corps. Army Medical Corps Center and School was affiliated on 14 December 2014 for the BA / BSS program conducted by Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP). It is to be noted that this institution is affiliated for the HSC (Nish-1) program conducted by Bangladesh Open University.
