Army School of Education and Administration (ASEA) started its journey as Army School of Administration on 16 December 1976 at Rajshahi Cantonment. To meet the growing need, Education Training Wing was incorporated in this institution on 01 April 1977 and it was renamed as Army School of Education and Administration. Later, the institution was shifted to Saidpur Cantonment on 25 june 1977. After about ten years the School was re-located to Mirpur Cantonment. The institution was finally shifted to Shaheed Salahuddin Cantonment, Ghatail, Tangail on 05 March 1990. It was unified with CMPC&S on 01 January 2008 and named as Centre Administration (CSMEA). Later on, these two were separated and ASEA re-started an an independent entity from 25 September 2011.
