BUPGAC presents BUP International Model United Nations Conference 2021

12 Feb 2023
BUP Global Affairs Council (BUPGAC), renowned for its professionalism, masterful organization, and riveting academic mega-events, has been triumphantly raising the bar higher and higher every year since 2016, working with utmost dedication and innovation to create an established platform on an international level and striving with evocative experiences of great battles of diplomacy. Following with that legacy, the BUP Global Affairs Council is thrilled to return this year with “BUP International Model United Nations Conference 2021,” one of the year’s most sought and anticipated events. The 6th – and certainly not the last – edition of BUPGAC’s signature event will take place from February 10, 2022 to February 12, 2022. Throughout this difficult time of the COVID-19 pandemic, the world has been confronted with major crises and difficulties, which countries have attempted to overcome, with varied degrees of success, in order to work for peace. As a result, the conference’s well-thought-out theme, “Fostering the Economy Through Technological Advancement to Tackle Post-Pandemic Catastrophe,” has emerged as an exciting opportunity for youths from various backgrounds to stimulate dialogue and exchange of views on the pandemic’s healing process. Fostering technical innovation and supporting policies and processes for sustainable technological growth, particularly in the post-pandemic world, are some of the most imaginative and practical approaches to building a resilient economy in the globalization era. BUPIMUN 2021 is committed to addressing this issue in a comprehensive and integrated manner while engaging the delegates in the process. This conference is being held online with the goal of providing delegates with a once-in-a-lifetime experience while considering their well-being, situations, and circumstances. We recognize and address the delicate nature of the COVID-19 situation by taking the required steps in the best interests of all parties involved. The goal of BUPIMUN 2021 is to instill a sense of authority in participants and to address the issue of individual power and responsibility. Its intention is to inspire participants to think of themselves as real diplomats, not only as advocates for abstract “delegations,” but as complex human beings who must balance their superiors’ (whether an employer or a sovereign state) interests with their own. For aspiring young leaders, this is the best platform for gaining significant experience and access to nearly limitless prospects.
