Biography
Fatema-Tuj-Juhra is working as an Assistant Professor at the department of International Relations in Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP). She completed her SSC and HSC from Viqarunnisa Noon School and College and then pursued Social Science for BSS and MSS from the Department of International Relations, University of Dhaka. Due to her interest in academia, Fatema joined as a faculty of IR in BUP. After serving both in BUP and BMA, she was selected as J.William Fulbright Fellow by the U.S. State Department and Institute of International Education (IIE). As a Fulbright fellow, she pursued Master’s in Public Policy from the Josef Korbel School of International Studies, University of Denver. Her specialization is in human rights and immigration policy. At present she is also working as a member of Fulbright Alumni under the U.S State Department and Exchange Alumni in the U.S. Embassy, Dhaka.Additionally, she received Dean's award, Abdus Salad Azad Gold Medal and Saheed Sinha Gold Medal from the University of Dhaka for her academic excellence.
