Biography

Emraan Azad is an early career researcher and teaches law at Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP), Dhaka. He holds an LLM in International Law from the University of Cambridge where he was a Commonwealth (Cambridge Trust) Scholar. Previously, he did his LLB (Honours) and LLM (Master of Laws) from the University of Dhaka. He is the co-founder of Dhaka Law Review and served as its Editor-in-Chief during 2015-16. His latest publication includes a book chapter analysing the domestic application of customary international law published in Bangladesh and International Law (Routledge, 2021).
