Biography

Driven by a passion for innovation in finance and a commitment to academic excellence, Md. Nafizur Rahman stands at the forefront of contemporary research in Fintech and Corporate Sustainability. As a full-time Lecturer in the Department of Business Administration in Finance and Banking, at the Bangladesh University of Professionals, he shapes the minds of future leaders with the same zeal that earned him the prestigious Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Scholar Award 2023 from the Prime Minister of Bangladesh. 
Nafizur's academic journey is marked by distinction: he completed both his MBA and BBA in Finance & Banking from the Bangladesh University of Professionals, excelling as a top scholar. His research prowess extends beyond the classroom, with several high-impact publications in Scopus and Web of Science-indexed journals such as the Asia Pacific Journal of Management, Journal of Cleaner Production, Journal of Innovation & KnowledgeEnvironmental Science and Pollution Research, Systems, and the Journal of Social Service Research
Not only has his work been recognized in academic circles, but it has also earned him three Best Paper Awards at prominent international conferences, including the British Academy of Management Conference 2022 in the UK, BAASANA International Conference 2019 in the USA, and the IFIM Business School Annual Conference 2018 in India. Md. Nafizur Rahman's research interests are diverse yet focused, encompassing areas like Fintech, Industry 4.0 Technology, Innovation and Strategy, Energy Economics, and Corporate Sustainability.
