Biography

Sadman Kabir is an Assistant Professor of Finance in the Department of Business Administration-General under the Faculty of Business Studies at the Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP). He started working as a Lecturer of Finance in the same department back in February 2020. Prior to that, he completed his BBA and MBA in Finance and Banking from the University of Rajshahi with merit. In his teaching career of more than 3 years, he taught courses like Principles of Finance, Financial Management, Corporate Finance, Investment Management, Financial Analysis and Control, Principles of Accounting in BBA, MBA, and MBA Professional programs. He has published several research papers in international and national journals. His research interests include Capital Market, FinTech, Corporate Governance, Financial Reporting, Behavioral Finance, and so on. He has participated in one international conference held in India and became Runner-up in the research paper category. He is currently working as a Project Director on a university-funded research project. Apart from teaching and research activities, he also performs additional responsibilities as a batch advisor, internship and thesis supervisor, and organizer of departmental batch trips, and so on. He was the Moderator of the BUP Career Club for more than a year.
