Biography

Mr. Jaber Al Nahian serves as a lecturer at the Department of Information and  Communication Technology at Bangladesh University of Professionals. He was born in Bangladesh, in 1996. He received his M. Sc. and B.Sc. degree in Information and Communication Engineering (ICE) from the Department of ICT at Bangladesh University of Professionals, Dhaka, in 2019 and 2020, respectively. Besides that, he served as a teaching assistant at the Department of ICT at Bangladesh University of Professionals. Many of his papers have been published in international journals and conferences. Additionally, he worked on human activity recognition and detecting elderly falls for his master's thesis. His research interests include the application of AI and ML, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Computer Vision, and Time-series analysis. Mr. Nahian has been awarded the prestigious ICT Fellowship from the Information and Communications Technology Division of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh for 2018-19.
