Biography

Nafisa Nazin Lutfa has been serving as a lecturer at the Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) since 2022. Nafisa's academic brilliance was recognized with the Chancellor’s Gold Medal in the year 2023, a testament to her significant contributions to the academic community.

Beginning her academic career in 2022, Nafisa worked as a full-time teaching assistant at BUP. Her commitment to creating a welcoming classroom and being supported by faculty members and students during this time set the stage for her later influential career in education. Nafisa engaged herself in research at the Bangladesh Institute of International and Strategic Studies before taking on the post of teaching assistant. An apprenticeship in public relations and communication at BRAC Internal Communications, Head Office, was another stop on Nafisa's career path. Her current research interests include, but are not limited to, foreign policy, South Asian affairs, social movements, and postcolonial and postmodern studies.
