Biography
Mamtaj Uddin Ahmed hasachieved his bachelor with honors in 1999 and master’s in 2000 degrees from theUniversity of Chittagong, Bangladesh with Public Administration as his major.He has started his teaching career in the same department of the sameuniversity in January, 2005. He has achieved his second master’s degree (MSc inGovernance and Development) from the University of Antwerp, Belgium in September,2011. He became an Associate Professor in May, 2013. Currently, he is pursuinghis PhD in the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) at theDepartment of Political Science. His areas of research interests are researchmethods in social science, politics as broad field, decentralization, localgovernment, public service, central-local relations, governance, anddevelopment management.
