Biography

Maisha Binte Sultan earned both her Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) and Master of Science (M.Sc.) degrees in Environmental Science from Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) with outstanding academic results. Since October 2023, Maisha has served as a Lecturer in the Department of Environmental Science at Bangladesh University of Professionals. Prior to her current position, she worked as a Research Assistant at the Laboratory of Environmental Health and Ecotoxicology (EHE), Department of Environmental Sciences, Jahangirnagar University. Her earlier roles included being a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant at the Department of Environmental Science, BUP, where she enhanced her teaching and research skills. Her research interest is in various aspects of environmental science, particularly in the fields of Environmental Toxicology, Environmental Pollution, Microplastics, Heavy Metals, and Human Health Risk Assessment. Her research prowess is evidenced by her publications in international peer-reviewed journals, contributing significantly to the scientific understanding of environmental issues.
