Biography
Born in Chittagong in the early 90s, Miss Chowdhury completed her SSC from Chittagong Port Authority Girls’ High School, securing the 11th position in the Chittagong Board. Subsequently, she enrolled in the Government College of Commerce and achieved another feather on her crown securing the 8th position in the Chittagong Board for her HSC.
Later, she moved to Dhaka for higher education, enrolling at the University of Dhaka. Tama successfully completed her BBA and MBA with a major in Marketing from this prestigious institution, earning a First-Class 2nd position in both degrees. Her academic excellence was recognized with prestigious Dean Honor Award from the Department of Marketing, University of Dhaka.
In addition to her academicachievements, she has been actively involved in extracurricular activitiessince childhood. She has showcased her talents as a child artist, singer,dancer, debater, anchor, and more. This versatile individual has participatedin national competitions, securing multiple awards during her student life. She has also gained fame for her extraordinary regional debate on Bangladesh Television & various national platform.
Followingher studies, Tama served as a faculty member at Ranada Prasad Shaha Universityfor almost three months. Renowned for her successful tenure, often termed asthe "ikigai" by students at Notre Dame University Bangladesh,her last serving institution. She has now embarked on a new journey joining asthe lecturer in the Department of Marketing at Bangladesh University ofProfessionals. Tama Chowdhury is anunstoppable force bringing her passion and expertise to inspire the nextgeneration of professionals.
