Biography

Fatima Binte Zahid joined the Department of International Relations as a Lecturer in 2024. She has completed her MSS and BSS with honors in International Relations from BUP. She received ‘The Dean’s Letter of Appreciation’ and multiple ‘Department Scholarships’ during her undergraduate and postgraduate studies.

Ms Zahid was appointed as a Teaching Assistant to the then Department Chairman during her Master's program where her passion for teaching at her alma mater further developed. Her research interests include Women and Gender in Politics, Political Ideologies, Security and Strategic issues, Regional Geopolitics, AI and Technology in International Relations and Climate Change.

Ms Zahid is committed to fostering a collaborative and engaging classroom environment, encouraging students to critically engage with texts and develop analytical skills.

In her free time, Ms Zahid enjoys reading, listening to music, and gardening.
