Biography

Meherin Ahmed Roza, daughter of Md Faruque Ahmed and Irin Pervin, was born on January 25, 1999, in Chandpur. She graduated with the highest distinction, earning a CGPA of 3.94 in her Bachelor of Social Science (BSS) and a perfect CGPA of 4.00 in her Master of Social Science (MSS) from the Department of Public Administration at Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP). Throughout her academic career, she consistently achieved first place in all semesters, receiving a total of 10 Dean's Letters of Appreciation and 10 Merit Scholarships in recognition of her outstanding performance.

Meherin Ahmed Roza was awarded the prestigious 'Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Scholars Award 2023'. Under the 'National Internship Policy 2023', Roza was selected as the top intern among ten selected ones by the Ministry of Public Administration. She has a strong passion for research, which led her to win the 'National Research Project Competition-2023' and publish two research papers in international journals.

In addition to her academic excellence, Meherin was actively involved in extra-curricular activities and social service. She made history as the first female president of the BUP Global Affairs Council. She participated in various research conferences, Model United Nations, Debate Competitions, Policy Competitions, and Case Competitions. Her artistic talents were also recognized in 2019 when four of her paintings were exhibited at the inter-university art and photography exhibition 'Sfuron 2.0'.

Roza's aspirations lie in teaching and research, with a strong desire to become a writer. She believes that writing has the power to inspire people across different times and places. Through her writings and publications, she aims to make a positive contribution to her country and nation.
