Ms. Mahmuda Rahman Deeba is a Lecturer in Statistics in the Department of Business Administration – General at the Bangladesh University of Professionals. Since joining in January 2026, she has been dedicated to cultivating critical thinking, analytical precision and evidence-based problem-solving in BBA (General) students through innovative pedagogical approaches. Ms. Deeba completed her Bachelor of Science (BS) and Master of Science (MS) in Statistics from the University of Dhaka, achieving outstanding academic results and in recognition of her academic excellence, she was awarded the Dean’s Honor Award (2021), the National Science and Technology Fellowship (2021–22) and multiple government scholarships. Her research expertise encompasses multilevel modeling, logistic regression analysis and applied statistical methods in social and health sciences. Her academic interests include statistical inference, multivariate analysis, research methodology and data analytics, with proficiency in R, SPSS, STATA, SAS and LaTeX. She aims to advance interdisciplinary research, curriculum development and quantitative education in a data-driven world.
