A team from the Department of Finance & Banking, under the Faculty of Business Studies, Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) secured the Second Runner-Up position at Capitalizer 2026, a national inter-university investment strategy competition organized by the BUP Finance Society. The competition brought together talented students from leading universities across Bangladesh to demonstrate their expertise in investment analysis, portfolio management, and strategic financial decision-making.

Capitalizer 2026 challenged participants through multiple competitive rounds that assessed financial analysis, equity valuation, investment strategy, and presentation skills. Teams were evaluated by a distinguished panel of academics and industry professionals based on the quality of their analysis, practicality of their recommendations, and effectiveness of their presentations.

Competing under the team name The Godfathers, the team consisted of Md. Al Shahoriar Hossain (ID: 2222151064), Saifullah Bin Ashraf Mahi (ID: 2222151146), and Tasnim Safwan (ID: 2222151161) from the Department of Finance & Banking, along with T. M. Waliullah Turjo (ID: 2224161123) from the Department of Management Studies at Bangladesh University of Professionals. Through rigorous research, comprehensive investment analysis, and outstanding presentation skills, the team secured the Second Runner-Up position in the highly competitive national event.
