Curriculum Development & Validation Workshop

The Department of Public Administration organized a workshop on 12 February 2024 entitled ‘Curriculum Development & Validation Workshop’ to enhance higher education quality for the BSS and MSS curriculum through a day-long workshop in the shed of Outcome Based Education (OBE) followed by the Bangladesh National Qualification Framework (BNQF) and Bangladesh Accreditation Council (BAC) Act 2017. The workshop includes experts who are Dr. Ferdous Arfina Osman, Dr. Naznin Islam, Dr. Sadik Hasan, from the Department of Public Administration, University of Dhaka, Dr. M Rezaul Islam, Institute of Social Welfare & Research, University of Dhaka, Dr. Asif Mohammad Shahan, Dr. Kazi Maruful Islam from the Department of Development Studies, University of Dhaka, Dr. Mohoshin Ali (Joint Secretary, BPATC), Mushfika Iffat, Deputy Director (Deputy Secretary), Governance Innovation Unit, Prime Minister's Office. Along with this, internal faculty members of the Department of Public Administration participated in cooperating with academics and professionals. 
The workshop divided the functions into four sessions. Session 1 covers the validation of the vision, mission, outcomes, and curriculum mapping of the program of Undergraduate Program. Session 2 covers content validation of the courses in the Undergraduate Program. Session 3 covers the validation of the vision, mission, outcomes, and curriculum mapping of the program of Graduate Program. Finally, session 4 covers content validation of the courses in the Graduate Program
