The BUP Finance Society, a prestigious student club under the Department of Business Administration in Finance and Banking at Bangladesh University of Professionals, has welcomed a fresh batch of members of batch 2023 following their annual INFLOW 2024 recruitment process. On April 21st, the society hosted a lively orientation at the Bijoy Auditorium to officially induct the new recruits.
This year's recruitment process witnessed an overwhelming response, with over 250 applications pouring in from students across various departments. After a rigorous three-round selection procedure, designed to identify the most promising candidates, 71 students were chosen to join the esteemed club.
The orientation was a celebratory affair graced by esteemed guests, notably Brigadier General Md Saadat Hossain, ndc, psc, the honourable Dean of the Faculty of Business Studies, who was the chief guest. Alongside the Dean, other distinguished attendees included Associate Professor Dr. Jannatul Ferdaous, Chairman, Department of Finance and Banking, Assistant Professor Farhana Yasmin, the Moderator, and Lecturer Md. Nafizur Rahman, the Co-Moderator.
The program was divided into formal and informal sessions. During the formal segment, the distinguished guests delivered speeches, emphasizing the importance of student clubs like the BUP Finance Society and encouraging the new members to make the most of the opportunities and resources available to them. A cake-cutting ceremony was also held to commemorate the occasion.
The informal session was dedicated entirely to the students, featuring a series of exciting games, cultural performances. The new recruits were presented with souvenirs from the club as a token of appreciation. The orientation marked the beginning of an exciting journey for the new members, who will now have access to a wealth of resources and opportunities to further their academic and professional goals.
