The Centre for Higher Studies and Research (CHSR) at Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) recently concluded a series of viva-voce examinations for its MPhil and PhD programmes for the 2024-2025B session. These sessions were conducted at the CHSR Seminar Hall (Room No.: VCR-204, 2nd Floor, Academic Block) on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th, and 8th of September 2024.
A total of 50 candidates participated in the viva-voce, which served as a crucial step in their academic journey. The sessions were graced by esteemed members of the BUP academic community, including Dr. Khondoker Mokaddem Hossain, Pro-Vice Chancellor of Bangladesh University of Professionals and Advisor of the Doctoral Committee; Brigadier General Mohammad Shahiduzzaman Khan, Dean of the Centre for Higher Studies and Research (CHSR); and Captain Mahbubur Rashid, Director of Centre for Higher Studies and Research (CHSR). Experts from various academic fields were also present to evaluate the candidates.
The successful completion of these viva-voce examinations represents a major achievement for both the candidates and the university. It reflects BUP's dedication to nurturing a strong research culture and developing scholars capable of addressing the complex challenges facing society today.
