The Department of Business Administration in Management Studies of Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) organized a seminar titled “HR’s Role in Building the Tech-Enabled Future Workforce: 2025 and Beyond” at BUP Campus on 20 May 2025. The seminar aimed to equip business students and future leaders with valuable insights on how artificial intelligence (AI) and emerging technologies are reshaping human resource management and organizational strategy.
The event brought together distinguished academicians and prominent industry professionals who shared practical knowledge and future-focused strategies in workforce development. Professor Dr. Muhammad Asif Hossain Khan, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, University of Dhaka, and Professor Dr. Md. Arifur Rahman, Department of Business Administration in Management Studies, BUP were present as panel speakers. The keynote speakers were Ms. Moutushi Kabir, Senior Director at BRAC, and Ms. Sayeda Tahya Hossain, Chief Human Resources Officer at Grameenphone Limited.
The program concluded with a lively open forum Q&A session, followed by a speech from the Dean of the Faculty of Business Studies, Brigadier General Md Aminul Akbar Khan, awc, afwc, psc, MPhil. The event was also attended by BUP high officials, faculty members, and students who expressed keen interest in the discussion.
