3rd International Conference on Building Inclusive Futures: Society, Development and Governance in the 21st Century, University of Rajshahi

The 3rd International Conference on Building Inclusive Futures: Society, Development and Governance in the 21st Century was held on September 12–13, 2025, at the University of Rajshahi, organized by the Faculty of Social Sciences. A total of 12 participants from Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) attended the conference, led by Lt. Col. Md Rezaul Karim, Chairman, Department of Public Administration.

In this conference, students from the Department of Public Administration, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS), BUP participated and presented four research papers under the supervision of faculty members Lecturer Anas Al Masud, Lecturer Meherin Ahmed Roza, Lecturer Md. Mustafizur Rahman, and Lecturer Jannateen Naoar Siena.

The titles of the papers are:

  • Digital Public Services in Bangladesh: A Hofstedean Analysis of Cultural Barriers and Catalysts
  • Public Trust in the Recommendations of Local Government Reform Commission: A Study on Cumilla District
  • Intergenerational Knowledge Transfer in the Digital Age: Youth as Catalysts for Parental Social Mobility in Dhaka City
  • Beyond Roll Numbers: Examining the Impact of Competitive Ranking on Primary School Children’s Well-being, Learning Habits, and Creativity

The conference provided an important platform for BUP students and faculty members to share their research insights, exchange knowledge with national and international scholars, and contribute to advancing discussions on inclusive futures, development, and governance in the 21st century.
