The Grand Finale and Prize Distribution Ceremony of ‘MicMasters 2025’, the inaugural nationwide public speaking championship of the BUP Public Speaking Club, was held on 8 October 2025 at the Bijoy Auditorium of Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP). The competition was organized under the supervision of the Department of Business Administration in Marketing, Faculty of Business Studies, BUP. Designed to promote articulate communication, stage confidence, and expressive leadership among youth, MicMasters 2025 created a platform for students to develop essential soft skills, expressive clarity, and professional presentation abilities.
This year, the competition garnered an overwhelming response with over 200 video submissions from students across the country. After a rigorous preliminary screening, 50 participants advanced to Round 2, where they were evaluated through structured speech curation and presentation. From there, the top 10 finalists earned their place in the Grand Finale, where they delivered extempore speeches and storytelling performances before a distinguished panel of judges comprising notable academics, industry specialists, and communication experts.
In the final round, Anisha Rezwan from Institute of Business Administration - Dhaka University secured the championship title of MicMasters 2025, T.M Walliullah Turjo from Bangladesh University of Professionals became the first runner-up, and Eshika Nargis from Bangladesh University of Professionals earned the position of second runner-up. The event was graced by the Dean of Faculty of Business Studies, Chairmen from the Departments of Faculty of Business Studies, BUP officials, faculty members, corporate representatives from the title sponsor United Finance, invited guests and BUP students, who applauded the initiative for empowering young voices and fostering a culture of confident public speaking nationwide.
