On 10th December 2025, students of Marketing 2022 took part in an engaging and creative session that blended marketing insight with culinary innovation. Under the guidance of their course instructor, Professor Dr. Mohammad Zahedul Alam, as part of the Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) course, students were tasked with developing a unique and standout dish while thoughtfully incorporating key IMC elements into their concepts. Throughout the activity, students rigorously applied IMC tools such as print media, banner advertisements, and logistical décor to establish credibility as hypothetical stall owners, while simultaneously managing financial aspects of their operations. This holistic approach enabled them to gain a practical understanding of how IMC driven businesses function and operate in real world settings.
The event was honored by the presence of the Dean of the Faculty of Business Studies, Brigadier General Md Aminul Akbar Khan, awc, afwc, psc, MPhil, whose encouragement motivated students to further enhance their creative and decorative presentations. All faculty members of the Department of Marketing were also present on the occasion. Despite being final year students with significant academic commitments, all 18 groups devoted their full energy and enthusiasm to the project, driven by the fun, interactive, and engaging nature of the activity. The impromptu stalls set up across classrooms created a vibrant and festive atmosphere, making the session both stimulating and resoundingly successful.
