An industrial visit to Walton Hi-Tech Industries PLC in Chandra, Gazipur was conducted for the students of Batch 2022 from the Department of Finance and Banking. Spread across nearly 800 acres of land, the factory’s advanced production facilities for air conditioners, refrigerators, and other electronic products were explored. These products are marketed both locally and internationally.

During the visit, the green energy production unit was also observed, where approximately 19 MW of electricity is generated solely through solar power. Valuable insights regarding Walton’s working environment, operational activities, and profit-sharing model were provided to the students, helping bridge the gap between academic learning and practical industry experience.

The visit was considered highly informative and inspiring. Great hospitality was extended by the company throughout the program. Furthermore, internship opportunities were offered to 10 students, making the industrial visit even more significant and memorable for the participants.
