Student Hall (Male & Female)

As the Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) is a new university with no hall building of its own, it has been conducting its student hall activities since 2010 at Mirpur DOHS. At present, 116 male students and 324 female students in total are getting residential hall facilities in seven (07) rented buildings at Mirpur DOHS. Associate Professor Al Jamal Mustafa Shindaini is conducting the responsibilities of the hall provost. To assist him in these activities, Assistant Professor Iffat Anjum has been assigned as the assistant provost in the female hall. Assistant Director Shamsad Jahan is overseeing the administrative responsibilities in both the male and female halls. Apart from that, one other faculty member in the male student hall and four faculty members in the female student hall are working as the house tutors. Necessary staff have been engaged in other activities in the student halls. Besides, BUP has already taken initiatives to set up its own student hall, a promising development for the future.
