Biography
Lt Col Rabiul Alam (retd) assumed the role of Additional Inspector of Colleges (IOC) on 02 August 2022. Prior to this assignment, he served as the Chairman of the Department of International Relations (IR) for eight years, concurrently holding the position of Chairman of Peace, Conflict and Human Rights Studies for six years. With a wealth of experience, he also served as a Hall Provost for four years and performed as Acting Dean in the Faculty of Security and Strategic Studies.
Lt Col Rabiul Alam (retd) had a distinguished military career spanning 31 years in the Bangladesh Army before joining BUP. He holds two Master's degrees in MPCHRDS and MBA. In his current role as Additional IOC, he oversees the operations of affiliated institutes and provides assistance to the IOC in fulfilling his duties.
