Commander Mohammad Imam Hasan Azad, (C), BCGM, psc, BN, assumed the role of Additional Inspector of Colleges at the Office of the Inspector of Colleges (IOC) in BUP on 04 February 2024. 

With nearly three decades of naval experience, Cdr Azad brings extensive leadership and operational expertise to his current role in BUP. His academic achievements, including master of science in Military Studies from BUP and Maritime Development & Strategic Studies from BSMR Maritime University, underscore his commitment to ongoing education. Renowned for competence in naval operations and management, he has earned accolades domestically and internationally. His resilience and adaptability, shown during UN missions, affirm his value. He has a publication in the National Level Journal named Armed Forces Journal, adding to his credibility and demonstrating his scholarly contributions to his field. His experience in strategic planning makes him ideal for enhancing educational governance within BUP's affiliated institutes.
