Biography

Khadiza Akter Tania is a dedicated and accomplished young academician and researcher specializing in environmental science. Having earned both her bachelor's and master's degrees from the esteemed Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP), Tania currently serves as a Lecturer in the Department of Environmental Science at BUP. With a dynamic professional journey, she has contributed significantly to various research initiatives, notably as a Compliance Coordinator at PDS Limited and as an Intern at the International Centre for Diarrhoeal Disease Research, Bangladesh (icddr,b). Tania's expertise extends across diverse areas, including wastewater treatment, environmental pollution, water quality, air pollution, plastic remediation, mycoremediation, and phytoremediation. Her commitment to advancing environmental science is underscored by notable publications addressing critical issues in emerging industries and the impact of macroplastics on soil-plant systems. Tania continues to inspire and guide aspiring environmental scientists through her role as an educator at BUP.
