The last edition of BUP Career Edge was organized online because of the ongoing pandemic. The event consisted of interactive sessions on a wide range of topics with substantial professional significance. Our goal was to groom the students for the upcoming challenges of their professional lives. Professionals who excel in respective sectors took the students through the courses and taught the learners some practical and important life hacks. For the very first time, every student from all the universities across the country had the opportunity to participate in this event. A number of keynote speakers graced the event. On 21st May 2021, Mr. Zaved Parvez, vice president of HR Tech & Talent Development Robi Axiata Limited, took his session on ‘Growth Mindset and Work Attitude.” Honorable keynote speaker Zara Jabeen Mahbub, country director and CEO of Apex DMIT Ltd, who is known for her expertise in web designing, customer management, product management for electronic manufacturing software, conducted a session on 22nd May 2021. Moreover, MD Tajdin Hassan (chief strategy and digital transformation officer of The Daily Star), Shabab Ishmam (supply planner of Ikea group) and others also took part in this event.
