Awareness Seminar To Prevent Dengue Infection

The Faculty of Medical Studies hosted a seminar on ‘Awareness and Remedies to Prevent Dengue Infection’ on July 19, 2023, at Bijoy Auditorium. The Pro-Vice Chancellor of the University Professor Dr. Khondoker Mokaddem Hossain, PhD was the Chief Guest in the program. The Dean of Faculty of Medical Studies, Brigadier General Neelima Akhtar, SGP, MPhil, MPH discussed and covered the subject matter as the keynote speaker. The main objective of the event was to inform and create public awareness about the severity of dengue infection and the necessary preventive measures. The keynote speaker spoke in-depth about the present state of dengue, its prevention, treatment, and management. A total of 305 individuals, including students of various faculties, teachers, officers, and staff members took part in the event. The audience participated effectively in the "Question-Answer Session." At the end, the chief guest gave his closing remarks and thanked everyone for attending the program.
