On January 17, 2025, the Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) hosted a momentous orientation programme for MPhil and PhD researchers, organized by the Centre for Higher Studies and Research (CHSR). The event began at 4:00 p.m. and welcomed 43 enthusiastic researchers embarking on their academic journey.

The session opened with the heartfelt welcome address by Brig Gen Mohammad Shahiduzzaman Khan, ndc, afwc, psc, the Dean of CHSR. Following the welcome, Captain Mahbubur Rashid, (L), psc, BN, Director of CHSR, presented a detailed overview of the course structure. His insightful presentation provided the researchers with a clear roadmap for their academic and research pursuits. The programme was further enriched by the presence of two esteemed guests of honour, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Mozahidul Islam from Jahangirnagar University and Prof. Dr. Mohammad Kamal Uddin from the University of Dhaka. Their participation added academic prestige to the event. The crowning moment came with the arrival of the Chief Guest, the respected Pro Vice Chancellor of the Bangladesh University of Professionals, Prof. Dr. Khondokar Mokaddem Hossain. His gracious presence symbolized the university's commitment to nurturing advanced research and academic excellence. This orientation programme marked the beginning of a academic journey for the researchers, paving the way for innovative research and collaborative learning in their respective fields.
