On March 3, 2025, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was formally signed between Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) and IDP IELTS marking a pivotal development in advancing educational opportunities for BUP’s students, faculty, staff, and their families. This MoU, rooted in academic collaboration between BUP and IDP, Bangladesh, will facilitate a range of initiatives, including IELTS preparation workshops, registration services, and study-abroad counseling. The MoU is designed to support the academic and professional growth of the BUP community on a global scale. Brigadier General Md Rabbi Ahsan, ndc, psc, Registrar, BUP and Razib Mahbubul, Country Director of IDP IELTS signed the agreement on behalf of their respective institutions. Among others, Dean, Centre for Modern Languages (CML) Brig Gen Rashed Iqbal, ndc, psc, G, MPhil, BUP high officials, teachers, students, senior officials of IDP Education Bangladesh Pvt. Ltd. were also present in the programme.
